Ellie Jepperson is a Los Angeles based screenwriter and filmmaker who hails from the southwest. She possesses a BFA in Directing from the University of Arizona and an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA.
Ellie's pilot Sun Borne recently received the award for Best Drama Pilot in the 2018 UCLA Screenwriters Showcase. In 2013 she wrote and directed the short film Sweets, which was accepted and well received at the LA Shorts Film Festival, the Bluff Arts Film Festival & the Loft Film Festival.
As a woman working in film and television, she feels strongly that her voice has something to add to the gaping hole in the creation and representation of female characters.
